I started my period on January 29th and coincidentally had a bladder infection at the same time. I started taking the birth control pills the day of my period while taking antibiotics for the infection as well. After three days the bleeding turned into spotting which went on for two weeks. I know that’s a common side effect for birth control. I’m on the last row of birth control pills and the bleeding started again today. I don’t have any weight gain but I had severe nausea, hunger and cravings. I also know those are side effects. But my boyfriend and I have noticed that my boobs have enlarged and now I have red stretch marks. I was just wondering if this is also a cause from the birth control. Also, we went out drinking and usually I can drink alot but I had only two shots and got really sick. I don’t know if that’s relevant. (Yes, unprotected sex was involved before and during birth control.)
